“I’m drawn to the contrast between the permanence of metals and the vibrancy found in fabrics and hides. This dynamic reflects so much of what we see in the natural world.”

Adam first discovered his interest in mixed-media metal art by accident.
While taking a welding class he became more interested in making artistic cut outs of iconic symbols of nature using a plasma cutter than learning how to weld.
His interest in color and textures led him to explore different types of fabrics, animal hides and other mediums as a bold backdrop (canvas) with polished steel and aluminum serving as the frame.
Like the intricate fishing flies Adam captures in steel, these combinations of metals and backdrops provide a visual statement that is both powerful and delicate.
Adam lives in Daniel, Wyoming with his wife and daughter.
